No, Aulani does not offer a one day pass.
Unfortunately, in order to use Aulani’s pools, beach equipment, and beach seating, you must be a guest staying at the resort.
However, there are some ways that you can spend time at the resort without an overnight reservation.
Locations Open to Day Guests
These are all the spots you can visit if you’re not staying at the resort:
- Laniwai Spa
- Makahiki Restaurant
- ‘Ama ‘Ama Restaurant
- Kalepa’s Store
- Hale Manu
- Ka Wa’a Luau
- Ulu Cafe
- Off the Hook
- Papalua Shave Ice
- The Olelo Room
- Mama’s Snack Stop
- Little Opihi’s
- Wailana Pool Bar
- Beach
Can Day Guests Swim at Aulani?
No, day guests cannot swim at an of Aulani’s pols because they are reserved for overnight guests only.
In order to swim at the resort, you need to pickup a wristband at one of the towel huts which is where a Cast Member will scan your room key and place a colored wristband on your wrist.
And all I can say is that they are very strict about this policy so good luck trying to sneak in lol.
You can however, swim at the beach since it’s open to the public. You just can’t sit on any of the beach chairs.
Visiting Aulani for the Day
These are my favorite ways to visit Aulani without staying overnight:
1. Book a Dining Reservation (or Character Breakfast)
This is the easiest way to visit and experience resort.
2. Go Shopping
Shop at both Hale Manu and Kale’s Store to find some Aulani exclusive merch.
3. Go to the Spa
The Laniwai Spa at Aulani is by far the best Disney spa at any resort. Best of all, you can book treatments there even if you’re not a hotel guest.
4. Spend the Day at Ko ‘Olina Lagoon
Aulani is located on one of Ko Olina’s public lagoons meaning that anyone, hotel guest or not, can visit, swim, and enjoy the beach.
5. Go to the Luau
The Ka Wa’a Luau is Disney’s interpretation of a luau that honestly isn’t too bad. It’s just very overpriced for what you get, just like anything Disney. But, if you really like Disney’s style of storytelling then you’ll like this luau.
Parking Price
It costs $40 per day for valet parking. It’s $15 for the first hour and $5 every half hour up to $40.
Getting Free Self-Parking or Valet
In order to get free self-parking or valet for up to 2.5 hours, you need to spend at least $50 or more at the following locations.
- Laniwai Spa (4 hours of free parking)
