Cheapest Time to Visit Disney World
- Cheapest Time = early January until Presidents Day weekend in February
- Second Cheapest Time = early November through mid-December, not including Thanksgiving week
- Cheapest Month for Park tickets = September
- Cheapest Month to Stay at a Disney hotel = early January to February
The cheapest time to visit Disney World is from early January to Presidents Day weekend.
The second cheapest time will be from late-July through September.
And the last affordable time of the year will be from early-November through mid-December, excluding Thanksgiving week.

Disney World Ticket Price Chart for the Year
Disney World park tickets are the cheapest from mid-August to mid-September.
Here is a chart I put together displaying the average prices for a 1-Day Ticket without Park Hopper on Wednesdays.
The exact same ticket on Saturdays will generally follow the same pattern, but just be more expensive, on average.
Park tickets will be the most expensive from Thanksgiving to New Year’s Eve.
Cheap Times to Stay at a Disney World Hotel
The cheapest time to stay at a Disney Hotel is from early January to February.
The second cheapest time is around late-August to mid-September which I’m assuming is because school is back in session.
Compiling the data for every hotel’s rate is so daunting. But thankfully, the guys at MouseSavers has put together a chart of the hotel rates for every single Disney World hotel during the entire year.

Every resort will be different and the average night rate as well as the room type or view can drastically affect these prices.

These are the dates where you’ll find the cheapest room rates at Walt Disney World this year:
- 1/2 – 1/3
- 1/7 – 1/11
- 1/15 – 2/7
- 8/18 – 8/21

- 8/28 – 8/29
- 9/2 – 9/7
Cheapest Day to Buy Lightning Lane Multi Pass
The cheapest day to buy the Multi Pass is Thursday with an average of $19.92.
The most expensive day is Saturday, as expected. It might even sell out.
Do Food and Drink Prices Fluctuate?
Nope.
Food and drink prices stay consistent during the entire year.
If anything, you might witness a park-wide price increase on most if not all food and drinks across the parks.
Seeing the old prices of food and drinks especially during the Epcot festivals is so disheartening.
It just sucks because nothing will ever get cheaper…
