Disney’s Aulani in Hawaii is outrageously expensive.
But thankfully, there are a few periods scattered throughout the year that you will find some affordable nightly room rates.
When is the cheapest time?
The cheapest time to stay at Aulani is early November through mid-December, not including Thanksgiving week.
You’ll also find some affordable nightly rates from mid-October through mid-November.
Average Nightly Rates During the Slow Season
The average room rate in November excluding Thanksgiving week is around $506 per night, not including tax.
And the average room rate in early December is around $564 per night, not including tax.
Aulani Promotions and Discounts
One cool thing about Aulani is that they will constantly run some sort of promotion or special offer that can save you upwards of 30% on your entire stay. The only caveat is that you’ll need to stay a minimum or 4 or 5 nights in order to take advantage of those deals.
Are the cheapest times the best time to go?
In my opinion, I really love going during the late fall through early winter mainly because the properties are not as busy and it’s pretty easy to find chairs by the pool without camping out at 7 am.
That said, the only caveat about going in November and December is that it’s basically the rainy season which can make beach and pool days suck.
