What to Pack (Super Condensed)
Here are all of my must-bring items on a Disney Cruise:
- swimsuit: you’ll need at least one for all of the hot tubs, pools, slides, and beaches
- comfortable clothes: I like to dress for comfort when I’m on the ship
- a nice outfit: I usually pack a nicer outfit for dinners especially if I’m going to Palo or any other adult exclusive spot
- charging cables: Gotta make sure my phone and camera is charged to the max after all them pics and videos I’ll be taking
- camera: Can’t forget to document my trip with something better than an iPhone camera
- day bag: A little sling bag or tote with a couple of toiletries and essentials like sunglasses
- refillable water bottle: A good way to fill up on the complimentary soda, coffee, juice, and hot chocolate found on the pool deck
- Pepto Bismol and Tums: So much eating and drinking that your stomach might hate you
- hand sanitizer: Surfaces are pretty gross, even on Disney
- sunscreen: gotta protect the moneymaker
- Toiletries/cosmetics: toothbrush, lotion, makeup, contact solution, deodorant, perfume, etc…
- light jacket: can get chilly on the deck at night, even in summer
- alcohol: You’re allowed to bring 2 bottles of wine/champagne or 6 beers
- diapers and baby essentials: can’t forget the diapers, formula, wipes, snacks, and toys for the little ones
- small travel stroller: a cool packable stroller would be best to use around the ship or outside at the Port of Calls

What You’ll Need on Embarkation Day
These are things that you should have on you when you’re boarding the ship on the first day. Be sure to not pack these items in your larger bag that you drop-off.
- medication in original containers
- passports or required citizenship documentation
- sunscreen
- extra prescription glasses or contacts
- swimsuit and coverup
- hat
I usually keep this stuff in my weekender bag if I dropped off my bags at the cruise terminal to get delivered later.
My Day Bag
I typically have a day bag on me when going to the pool/beach or even getting off the ship.
This is what’s inside usually:
- chapstick
- sunglasses with case
- battery charger
- hand sanitizer
- cash (if getting off ship)
- camera (if I need some content for IG)
Totes, backpacks, sling bags, bum bags, or pouches will work perfectly. If you’re Castaway Club, you might even get a free cool zip pouch too.

Hope this Disney Cruise packing list helps!
