I compiled a list of all the legit places where you can buy discounted Disneyland tickets without the risk of getting scammed.
These are all of the only places that are safe to use. Anything else might be extremely risky.
Discount Disneyland Tickets Buying Guide
Here are all the places that offer Disneyland ticket deals, discounts, and coupons that are safe bets.
1. Official Disneyland Website
Average Discount = 10% – 40% off
This is the best place to start when searching for discounted Disney tickets.
Not only will you find special seasonal promotions, you’ll also find special deals for certain guests that check certain boxes.
Typical Disneyland Discount (averages)
- Military = 40% off
- Magic Key Holders = 10% off
- Southern California Resident = 10-15% off
- Disney Vacation Club = 10% off
- Disney+ Subscribers (sometimes) = 10% off
2. Undercover Tourist
Average Discount = $10 -$50 off
This is probably one of the most reputable authorized ticket sellers out there.
Undercover Tourist offers single day and multi-day discounted ticket packages that also include Genie+ and Park Hopper.
They sometimes even run promotions where you can buy adult tickets at child prices.
3. Get Away Today
Average Discount = varies
Get Away Today is another popular Disneyland ticket seller that runs pretty nice multi-day ticket deals.
When booking through Get Away Today, you’ll generally need to buy a multi-day ticket in order to truly see any significant discount.
I recommend you check their site out periodically to see if there are any ongoing ticket promotions.
4. AAA
Average Discount = Up to $10 per ticket
AAA Members can save up to $10 per ticket when you buy them at your local branch.
You can buy both 1 Park Per Day tickets as well as Park Hopper tickets with an average discount of $6 off per ticket.
5. Sam’s Club
Average Discount = varies
Sam’s Club Members can take advantage of special members-only pricing on select Disneyland tickets when purchased through their travel portal.
I’m not a member but from what I can see, a discount only applies on 2-Day and more tickets.
Also, if you want to go the gift card route, you can now buy Disney gift cards from some Sam’s Club locations at 10% off which can definitely add up.
Park Reservations
Regardless of where you purchase your tickets, you will need to make a theme park reservation.
To do so:
- Visit Disneyland.com or the Disneyland app
- Link your park tickets
- Make a theme park reservation
Could a Magic Key (annual pass) be a better deal?
Depending on how many days you plan on visiting Disneyland this year, it might actually be cheaper to just buy a Disneyland Magic Key (when they are available).
Although I go into more detail about this in a previous article, to sum things up, here’s how many days you’d need to go to Disneyland or California Adventure in order for it be cheaper to just buy an annual pass as opposed to individual tickets:
- Imagine Magic Key ($499) = 3 times
- Enchant Magic Key ($849) = 4 times
- Believe Magic Key ($1,249) = 6 times
- Inspire Magic Key ($1,649) = 8 times
It can technically be even less if you factor in Magic Key dining discounts, parking, and even Genie+.
