Finally tried The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s Boardwalk and honestly, some of the cake slices I got were pretty good, despite the major elephant in the room.
Here’s what we ordered:
- Gwendolyn’s Famous Earl’s Court Chocolate Cake
- Pixie Fetti Birthday Cake
- Raspberry Champagne Cake (x2)
- Oprah’s ‘O’ List Mint Chocolate Chip Cake (gluten free)
- Rose Macaron
- Chocolate Truffles Box
The Raspberry Champagne Cake was the best followed by the Mint Chocolate Chip one, especially for being gluten free.
Macaron was good but nothing spectacular, but those Chocolate Truffles were insanely good.
Total came out to around $180+ and honestly as much as I enjoyed the desserts, the price was a little hard to swallow.
But that doesn’t mean I won’t be back because it was truly a great experience with even friendlier staff.
Next up gotta be the pies.
